Our Ideation process
Filling Gaps in the market
At Shilpakale, our ideas start with good old-fashioned conversations. We spend a lot of time chatting with locals, artisans, and fellow art lovers to get a sense of what’s already out there and, more importantly, what’s missing. We ask around to see what people are excited about, but we also dig deep into what they can’t seem to find in the market.
By understanding what’s already available, we can identify the gaps—those unique pieces or designs that people want but can’t get their hands on. That’s where we step in. Our goal is to fill those gaps with fresh, culturally inspired creations that you won’t find anywhere else. We combine this community feedback with our passion for art to create products that are not just beautiful but also truly one-of-a-kind.
