We’re a group of Mysore natives with a deep love for the art and architecture that makes our city so special. Growing up surrounded by the stunning palaces, intricate temples, and rich cultural history of Mysore, we couldn't help but feel inspired. But we also noticed something these incredible pieces of art were often hidden away, difficult for most people to access or bring into their homes.

That’s when we had an idea. What if we could take the beauty of Mysore’s art and make it available to everyone? As a team of passionate enthusiasts, we decided to dig deep, seek out the finest Mysore-inspired designs, and bring them to life through 3D printing.

Filling Gaps in the market

At Shilpakale, our ideas start with good old-fashioned conversations. We spend a lot of time chatting with locals, artisans, and fellow art lovers to get a sense of what’s already out there and, more importantly, what’s missing. We ask around to see what people are excited about, but we also dig deep into what they can’t seem to find in the market.

By understanding what’s already available, we can identify the gaps—those unique pieces or designs that people want but can’t get their hands on. That’s where we step in. Our goal is to fill those gaps with fresh, Mysore-inspired creations that you won’t find anywhere else. We combine this community feedback with our passion for the city’s art to create products that are not just beautiful, but also truly one-of-a-kind.
